I Thank God for 2007

I've always wondered, how time passes so slow? As it comes to the last day of the year, i thought to myself, how fruitful have i grown and spent my time over this one year? Yes, both bad and good times has all come to pass. But, is 2008 going to be the same, or even better? I really wonder. This year has indeed allowed me to accomplished both victory and let downs, disappointment with myself or even the people whom i love and treasure. Victory in my studies to work towards my goal and leading to the full filled promises my parents has set on me, a dream America vacation has all been given. But how about the let downs? I really wonder why has going to church become so inconsistent these months and days? God has actually been there for me throughout these tough times and forgave me many times with all my wrong-doings, but why do i let others stop me from going to church? Why is there so much jealousy and self-centeredness that bothers me so much? All these questions are just pouncing on me right now. I really pray that my relationship with God, my family, relatives, clique, best friends, friends, people around me and even those i truly dislike would grow closer and that i would be consistent in the things i do and that distractions in life would be avoided. These prayers are the first on my New Year's resolution list. As i ponder now, "Time passes fast, make use of it wisely." I finally understand. 2008 is going to be a better and wonderful year for me and I'm sure for the rest of us, i pray :) Here's to a wonderful New Year, 2008!

Yesterday, went to school to collect my books with my Aunt & Dad. Forgot to buy the most important thing, school tie :/ How stupid. And size M for school skirt is sold out ): After which, went to SRC to meet my cousin for lunch, had Laksa :] We walked around Raffles City, bought nice and yummy cakes. Cabbed to my Cousin's place and we went to play Tennis/Badminton & went to the Gym too. Four of us. I need to start exercising more often, i'm weakening. Challenge me, somebody :D Gym was fun, watched the 530 show while fiddling with the Gym machines. Went back to shower at her place & went for dinner at Elias Mall with my relatives. Overall, had a great day :) Fun & laughter, i need some of them right now.

I have been rushing through my homework the entire week, especially Wednesday. Am busy, really busy. On Thursday, bus-ed to Costa Sands Chalet to meet 3i and the rest of Elize friends. We had a surprise "early" birthday party for her and her classmates planned everything so smoothly and even booked a chalet. How sweet :) The food was alright though, it was funnnn too. We went to the arcade too, and took many pictures!

Christmas Eve:
Went to Vivo to catch Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium with Jerrell, that show practically made me cry, at the end it was, touching. I want a magical toy factory for Christmas! Shopped around for my mom's Christmas present too, bought some SUPER nice scented smelling cream from Marks & Spencer's. Met dad at Cityhall, walked all the way to Conrad Hotel to meet my relatives, ate chili cheese fries at Carls Jr. I had fun with my cousins, taking pictures in the hotel room. In the evening, went to my Godparents place for Christmas eve dinner with my mom's side of the family. International spread of food and exchange of presents :) How fun can Christmas get?
